Donate

While much of our food is donated, we purchase additional food from the Northern Illinois Food Bank and local grocery stores to best serve our clients’ needs. We also provide limited financial assistance. This is possible through generous donations from our community. Downers Grove Area FISH is a 501(c)(3) organization, and all donations are tax-deductible.

Monetary donations

Donating is safe and easy! Volunteers receive donations Tuesdays 8:30-10:30AM & 5-6PM, Thursdays 8:30-10:30AM, and Fridays 10:30-11:30AM. If this is not convenient for you, call (630) 964-7776 or email us to arrange a time that fits your schedule.

We would especially appreciate donations of:

  • Fresh

    • apples

    • oranges

    • potatoes

    • sweet potatoes

    • onions

  • Ketchup

  • Mustard

  • Mayo

  • Salad dressing
